Test & Productionization Overview

 Wafer Probe station

As a natural extension of our design service, VIPER RF undertakes engineering characterization on-wafer and in custom designed test jigs. We have developed an in-house Engineering Laboratory with the capability to carry out small signal and large signal measurements up to 40GHz. For mm-wave frequencies to 110GHz, we have links with institutions with state-of-art measurement capabilities.

We also offer over-temperature measurements via custom designed test jigs. We have developed die assembly capability including RF bondwiring, and produce prototype jigs with rapid turn-round time.

After successful prototypes, VIPER RF can lead/assist with productionization of your custom MMICs. We interface with foundry and subcontractors on customers’ behalf to help establish production routes. We have links with major third party commercial vendors.

On-Wafer MMIC Characterisation

We have capability to test MMIC devices up to 40GHz on wafer with our 6" prober. We routinely design on-wafer probecards for test of high power amplifiers and other complicated multi-function MMICs.
